Hello,
sorry for using English, I do not speak German.
I have a problem with the Pto on my A60,
I can not get either the front or rear pto running.
I tried to connect them from the "clutch" on the right side of
the steering wheel,no success.
I tried to adjust the "clutch" cable but still no function.
I really need help with this problem and even a German answer would
be ok.
Do anybody have a exploded view of the pto system?

Test: When Engine was stopped, can you the Cardan shaft turn? Turn the upper Cardan shaft when the Engine run?

The lever of the right side from Steering is the lever of MultiClutch, must forward his.

download and open page 54 (picture tabel No 25 ff) ff.

You'll find two/four kinds of PTO in the front-gear box:

- wiht/and without multi plate clutch
- with/and without front pto.


The Problem may be result by the multi plate clutch (defect or service needed or mechanical failure (selektor fork ...)).

The "clutch" cable is not designed to adjusted the clutch in case of any service.
The clutch cable is fixed at the first installation in the fakory. No Service needet/wanted.

For service you have to find out by your maschine no, witch kind of Multi-plat clutch is distirbuted in your A60:

- a "service-needed"- Clutch (picture table no: 28)
The service: Screw "2521" an set nut "2522" (in order to increase the tension of the clutsch, turning the drive shaft.):
Exact How to:
See service manual: (A40/A50/A60 .. it's only the same..)
Remove screw 2411.
Truning drive shaft, so that the 3mm /(>=130 mm long) "imbus" can release the screw "2521" (only release! Not remove!! ) in the set nut 2522 .

Turning drive shaft carefully left to inrcease tension./rigth to decrease tension.
"Activation Power/ crrect tension" needet 20-22 kp (Ball on the clutch operat lever).
Service Needet less than 15 kp.
Aftwerwards:
Fixe Screw 2521.
Fix Screw 2411..


- a "non service needed " clutch.


The second reason for the problem may be (But I guess you know it yourself already.):

- You forgot the second "clutch" for the front pto :

On the left side ( of the front gear box there is a selector level, do activate/deactivate the front pto.)

- You forgot the second "clutch" for the rear pto

On the rigt sigt, after the driver seat, in the rear gear box.

Both clutches has to be acitvaed at he same time in order to get power to the PTO.

Aber er hat Frontzapfwelle und Lamellenkupplung. Er braucht also nur 2 Bildtafeln.

thank you for fast reply,
no problem with your English.
It seems that the problem is in the Multiclutch or the
fork that activates the Multiclutch.
-When rotating the rear output shaft,when it is activated from lever behind the seat,
the first shaft between engine and gearbox turns around.
-It does not make any difference if the front pto is activated or not,
you can turn it around by hand.

I must study the exploded views first,
but that method that Biggi suggested seems to maybe fix the problem.

I forgot:

Or the Multiclutch does work very well, but it gets no power from the engine because of:
- a damage at the frontdrive schaft (table 27, picture No: 2463)
- the hub (Table 7, picture no 414)

- No Power incoming ...,
- no power tresspassing
, no power outcominng .

You have to examine the whole powertrain.

- The upper shaft between engine and rear engine is the pto.
If the engine ist running:
it should run clothing/c the multclutch. Opening the Multinclutch it schould stop within 1 or 2
seconds. ...

- the middle shaft provides the gears box with power

- the bottom shaft is the connection between front and rear axle (cardan shaft)

Hello,
I checked the frame number, it is 5250108.
Then it should be the clutch described on table 28.
I tried to shorten the 2592 to get more pressure on the linkage to
the clutch.No difference.
Is it shaft no:2463 on table 27 that provides the power to the pto?(Multiclutch)
My ordinary clutch is working fine, the gears shifts easily and nice,
the problem must then be between the Multiclutch and engine flywheel?
